Gray autumn

To you (few) readers that are still here - I'm sorry!
Seems like I'm not able to keep this (or any other) blog up to date ...

This weekend have been very relaxed. A walk in the woods with Mrs. Skotte and the dogs, movies, televison, rubbish food and sugar, Issele and Apekatt visiting yesterday and on top of that a super lazy Sunday. It's nice not doing anythig, but now I'm full of energy

- Monday, here I come.

Hip hop & vodka

All right. Maybe I should start realize that blogging isn't my favorite thing to do ...

The last post was 2 weeks ago and if I didn't already had some pics ready I wouldn't have done it now. Luckily, I do this for fun and not for a living ;)

Anyways! These pictures are from last Friday when we were out!

We went to Hamburgerbörs for some hip hop live performances, then to Naglo for Eurovision music, vodka drinks and unfortunately shots. Later we jumped in a taxi that drove us to Patricia. Me and Issa danced until the lights turned on and we went home to get some sleep. It was a really good night, but the next day was totally HORRIBLE. No more shots - like never!

On the bridge

Torö, Friday. Me and Ebba ♥

When mum's asleep she can pretend she likes me too ;) ...

Blog update

A short update might be in place? Words, text - no pics (boring).

I'm still in Sweden, but on the other hand Sofia didn't think I was gonna move back to the island until beginning of September. I don't think that's gonna happen though, I like it here!, believe it or not. Despite the weather. I just need to find a job that I like & then I'm alright.

Speaking of Sofia I'm meeting her on Saturday! She's in Sweden visiting right now.
Hopefully I feel better by then, right now I have a horrible cold which I'm fighting to get rid of. It's not funny at all to be sick and spend day after day on the couch ...

Anyways, that was that. Not much for an update huh?
I will shoot some more pictures so that you don't have to read these texts that often ;) BYE!

Last weekend

Some instagram pics from last weekend.

Camilla, Simon and I played some games (correction: THEY played A game) on the terrace. For once in this cold country the sun was shining and we could sit outside without a winter jacket for a while without freezing to death ...

... we did later though.

Some friends came by and we had a "Kråkslottsparty" - Kråkslottet is my parents house c",)
Kalle R. showed us some photos from his younger days, and Kalle H. played guitarr and sang songs, just like Nordic Fridays! It was 9 degrees outside. That's insanely cold for a "summer" night in August I must say. When most of the crowd went home the rest of us cleaned the tables and went inside for more guitarr play and singing (by Ståhl!), and finally we fell asleep to Fight Club. On the couch. I can still feel the pain in my neck.

Saturday. Tess, Tomas, Micke and I went to Sickla for lunch and food shopping for the adults, while the kids were playing games in another store. We also tried out all the sofas and armchairs in one of the home furnishing stores. Many comfartable sofas, but the best one is still standing at T & T's apartment ♥ where we got a few minutes rest before going to my place for food, candy and a movie; Man on a Ledge (which I slept through).

Malta get-together

Haven't taken many pictures lately, but that doesn't mean nothing has happened!

Monday we went to Katrineholm to meet up with some old and new friend from Malta.

It was raining a lot so we spent most of the evening inside, with nice food some songs and games. It was fun to see the guys again - especially Jenny that I haven't seen in a long while.

The sun showed up the next day! Breakfast, cleaning and then in to town for lunch c",)

I had to wait for the train for 45 minutes, and then slept the whole way back to Stockholm, just a little bit tired ... Got home, took a shower and then it was time for dinner and cinema at Heron City with Camilla, Jocke, Danielle, Denise and Danneman. -The Dark Knight Rises!

Saturday fun!

This cute baby horse was very interested in Tindra and wanted to give her a kiss!

Mother horse was curious as well and thought it was fun with another visit. She even said hello in her own neighing way when we came back on Saturday.

I wanted to bring her home with me ♥

My company on the road! The picture is taken outside a giant ghost house.

When we walked up to it we saw a car standing outside plus a pair of shoes inside the door. That made the girls turn around, so unfortunately we didn't step inside to see if we could find any ghosts - but there was probably 1 in the wardrobe, and another one under the bed.

Yatzy-times with Mikael and Patrik!

Amanda sat down but she hardly got any rest before the guys throwed her in the water ...

Laboda Open has begun. A battle of life and death with 5 teams and 10 different activities.

Mandy with the dogs; Tindra, Boss and Tarzan.

8 persons in the boat. It all went well, no one fell over board.

Kräftskiva or as Google Translate says it "crayfish party". Food, wine and shots!

Jocke turned a little bit crazy during the evening and after this he sat at the table drinking out of the same bottle, with the same weird look in his face. Luckily we managed to get him some water afterwards, and even though he didn't feel great when he woke up this morning it could have been worse - much worse :) What a LOVELY weekend!

After a weekend like this it's nice to be home on the couch.
However, it's a bit boring as well - four days in the same house as a bunch of other fun people is awesome, and I would defenitely do it more often if I got the chance.

& yea, tomorrow it's time again! Issele and I are going to Katrineholm where we'll meet up with some friends from Malta. Jenny, Evelina, Sara, Mattias, Honken maybe and some others.

I think it will be great! Of course I'll take some pictures and show you Wednesday ;) - nightie!

A walk in the rain

Camilla and I took Tindra for a walk and said HI! to all the animals along the road.

Fat and tired cows who didn't feel like coming close to the fence and a lot of cute horses!

It's cool to see how interested the horses are in the dog, and she just wants to run inside :)

During the walk it started raining. A LOT! We were totally wet into our underwear.

It wasn't very fun, but one should always think positive and the mosquitos disappeared when the rain started pooring down - they showed up as soon as it stopped, but a few minutes without them was nice. Cam looks quite happy on the picture below, don't you think?

The sun decided to come back after our walk.

Begy joined at lunch time, and kept Jocke company while preparing the scewers.

Amanda came in time for dinner and afterwards we played some games and waited for Mikael who came later. Watched the beginning of a movie, fell asleep in front of the fireplace and realized it was time to say goodnight.

Engelbrekts bruk

Since the sun didn't show up as expected Friday morning we went to Norberg for some shopping and touristing after breakfast. We took a tour at Systembolaget (where you buy alcohol in Sweden), Konsum to buy some more food, Röda Korset to find a big bowl (didn't succeed) and then we moved on to a place called Engelbrekts bruk to check it out ...

My super amazing crew for the day! ♥

It was a beautiful place with green lawns, trees, old houses and lakes.
We started reading about the old buildings but we weren't too interested so I don't remember very much about it. But it was nice and relaxing to walk around over there!

Thursday (again)

Thursday was 3 weeks in Sweden. Still feels OK!

Camilla, Jocke, Simon and I went to Norberg after work.

We arrived in the evening, unpacked the car and started preparing the food.

Joakim was thirsty and drank some Amarone straight from the bottle.

Simon's armchair took a while (a long while) to finish ... He was a little bit dizzy afterwards :)

A bit later we enjoyed the sauna and a swim in the lake. It wasn't warm, but not too cold.

I guess the alcohol helped us to man up as well ...

Springsteen

Saturday and time for Göteborg!

We left early and arrived to our "hotel" in the afternoon.

A taxi drove us to town and we had a couple of drinks a place called Danilo.

Dinner across the street at Scandic Opalen where they served a delicious buffet!

At Ullevi! Elin and I bought our tickets the same day and got seats straight across the scene, but we didn't see very well, so after a while we walked down to the ground where we found Tess, Tomas, Jocke and Robin. The party started, and the concert was AWESOME!

Afterwards we were all tired, but some of us decided to go out for a drink.

We ended up at a bar, Joe something, and ordered beer, sat there talking and laughing until it was time to go back home. Bought some food and went back to the office which was the "hotel" that we borrowed from Cillan's best friend. Started a very important conference before we went to sleep ... At around 4:30 in the morning.

Woke up the next day and drove to Freeport (an outlet with different brands) - it wasn't very good so we didn't stay for very long. Instead we said good bye and thanks to everyone who were going back to Aspö, and we started our drive to Stockholm.

A big THANKS for inviting me to come, for a great time and thanks to Bruce for a good show!

Hornudden

Hello there, I'm back in Stockholm after a lovely weekend!

Camilla, Jocke and Robin picked me up Thursday morning and we arrived to Aspö, Hornudden at around six in the evening. Said HI! to everyone and served ourselves with a glass of wine. Since some of the guys in the family had their birthdays recently or soon, we celebrated them. Dinner, drinks, chattering, cigarettes and Ogga Chakka - singing game.

No pics from Thursday, but below you'll find a few from our Friday - sun & fun.

The weather was great, so after a nice walk we relaxed in the sun.

Summer drink and cheezeballs before the games begun ...

We started out with a Swedish game called KUBB - unfortunately the girls team lost.

Later we continued with dart. I think we lost that as well, but only by 1 point, so not far off.

Camilla and Jocke had a music quiz with only Bruce Springsteen music since we were going to the concert at Ullevi the day after, and Bosse didn't know about it and they wanted to reveal it in a fun way. Although he didn't realize anyway until Tina told him :-)

Tess and Tomas made a tasty dinner with extra spice! To that some rose wine.

After the dinner we watched the Olympics 2012 Opening Cermony, then we said good night!

2 weeks

Wednesday! Tomorrow I've been home for 2 weeks.
So far so good :) & today I have an interview - wish me luck!

Yesterday started with stops at every red light from home in to Hornstull, which made me think the day was gonna be horrible, but it turned out to be great; got some extra cash, received my payroll for July and on top of that I had a lovely evening.

Monday I had Isabelle, Simon and Honken over for a visit. Always good seeing them!

I don't really miss Malta right now, but I do miss all the awesome people on the island ♥
Hopefully I can go there for a weekend in August. I have to take care of some stuff as well.

Alrightie - tomorrow I'm going with Camilla and Jocke to Aspö! On Saturday we're going to Göteborg where we'll (hopefully, still need a ticket) listen to Bruce Springsteen who's playing at Ullevi. Back home on Sunday with a lot of pictures and stories to tell ...

Instaphotos

Spent the afternoon and evening at Oxnö and Nynäshamn with my parents ♥

Helped out with the painting (woho, I can say I've done something!), we took a walk and then we went to Kroken - once again, for dinner, then some candy and yatzy in the trailer.

The pictures are from my mothers iphone (instagram). Nice huh? I stole them from Facebook.

More pictures

Camilla, Jocke and I went to Trosa yesterday. A bit later Begy joined as well.

We started with lunch at a cute café called Tre små rum (Three small rooms).

This cool car was parked at Jocke's parents place.

Ohyes, she's a poser.

We took a walk to Trosa Havsbad. The weather was lovely!

After the walk we played Yatzy and drank rose wine while the boys took the boat for some fisihing, and before we left we were invited to dinner together with Joakim's family.

We had a really nice day! but I was so tired when I got home ...

It was a while ago since I fell asleep before midnight on a Saturday night.

Trip to Trosa

Today we've been to Trosa - for lunch, a walk, Yatzy and dinner. A lovely day ♥

I will tell you more about it tomorrow (I also have some more pics) ... Nightie, sweet dreams!

Nynäshamn

When work was done for the day we decided to for dinner, so we went to restaurant Kroken in Nynäshamn - it is really good! I've been there a couple of times and the food has always been amazing. Afterwards we found the ice cream that made Ebba smile like a fool :)

Thursday

All Swedes know that you have to "fika" every now and then!

... especially all construction workers - I've heard it's what they do best ;)

Taking a walk with my mother, Camilla and Ebba.

This is what the house looks like from one end. Can't wait til it's done! It already looks great.

Inside from the future bedroom, overlooking the hallway and living room area.

Happiness

... for a dog is as simple as ice cream! ♥

Picture from yesterday in Nynäshamn where we spent our evening. More pics are on the way.

Sjöstigen 7

These pictures are from Friday last week when I visited mum and dad at Oxnö.

My mum and I took a walk with Ebba, found wild strawberries and later the dog took a swim.

It's fun to watch her in the water because she puts down her whole head in the water and pushes it up hard so that the water's splashing all around her. Reminds me of Tösen! ...

This is what the house looks like from one direction. I will show you more of it another day!
