Springsteen

Saturday and time for Göteborg!

We left early and arrived to our "hotel" in the afternoon.

A taxi drove us to town and we had a couple of drinks a place called Danilo.

Dinner across the street at Scandic Opalen where they served a delicious buffet!

At Ullevi! Elin and I bought our tickets the same day and got seats straight across the scene, but we didn't see very well, so after a while we walked down to the ground where we found Tess, Tomas, Jocke and Robin. The party started, and the concert was AWESOME!

Afterwards we were all tired, but some of us decided to go out for a drink.

We ended up at a bar, Joe something, and ordered beer, sat there talking and laughing until it was time to go back home. Bought some food and went back to the office which was the "hotel" that we borrowed from Cillan's best friend. Started a very important conference before we went to sleep ... At around 4:30 in the morning.

Woke up the next day and drove to Freeport (an outlet with different brands) - it wasn't very good so we didn't stay for very long. Instead we said good bye and thanks to everyone who were going back to Aspö, and we started our drive to Stockholm.

A big THANKS for inviting me to come, for a great time and thanks to Bruce for a good show!

Hornudden

Hello there, I'm back in Stockholm after a lovely weekend!

Camilla, Jocke and Robin picked me up Thursday morning and we arrived to Aspö, Hornudden at around six in the evening. Said HI! to everyone and served ourselves with a glass of wine. Since some of the guys in the family had their birthdays recently or soon, we celebrated them. Dinner, drinks, chattering, cigarettes and Ogga Chakka - singing game.

No pics from Thursday, but below you'll find a few from our Friday - sun & fun.

The weather was great, so after a nice walk we relaxed in the sun.

Summer drink and cheezeballs before the games begun ...

We started out with a Swedish game called KUBB - unfortunately the girls team lost.

Later we continued with dart. I think we lost that as well, but only by 1 point, so not far off.

Camilla and Jocke had a music quiz with only Bruce Springsteen music since we were going to the concert at Ullevi the day after, and Bosse didn't know about it and they wanted to reveal it in a fun way. Although he didn't realize anyway until Tina told him :-)

Tess and Tomas made a tasty dinner with extra spice! To that some rose wine.

After the dinner we watched the Olympics 2012 Opening Cermony, then we said good night!

2 weeks

Wednesday! Tomorrow I've been home for 2 weeks.
So far so good :) & today I have an interview - wish me luck!

Yesterday started with stops at every red light from home in to Hornstull, which made me think the day was gonna be horrible, but it turned out to be great; got some extra cash, received my payroll for July and on top of that I had a lovely evening.

Monday I had Isabelle, Simon and Honken over for a visit. Always good seeing them!

I don't really miss Malta right now, but I do miss all the awesome people on the island ♥
Hopefully I can go there for a weekend in August. I have to take care of some stuff as well.

Alrightie - tomorrow I'm going with Camilla and Jocke to Aspö! On Saturday we're going to Göteborg where we'll (hopefully, still need a ticket) listen to Bruce Springsteen who's playing at Ullevi. Back home on Sunday with a lot of pictures and stories to tell ...

Instaphotos

Spent the afternoon and evening at Oxnö and Nynäshamn with my parents ♥

Helped out with the painting (woho, I can say I've done something!), we took a walk and then we went to Kroken - once again, for dinner, then some candy and yatzy in the trailer.

The pictures are from my mothers iphone (instagram). Nice huh? I stole them from Facebook.

More pictures

Camilla, Jocke and I went to Trosa yesterday. A bit later Begy joined as well.

We started with lunch at a cute café called Tre små rum (Three small rooms).

This cool car was parked at Jocke's parents place.

Ohyes, she's a poser.

We took a walk to Trosa Havsbad. The weather was lovely!

After the walk we played Yatzy and drank rose wine while the boys took the boat for some fisihing, and before we left we were invited to dinner together with Joakim's family.

We had a really nice day! but I was so tired when I got home ...

It was a while ago since I fell asleep before midnight on a Saturday night.

Trip to Trosa

Today we've been to Trosa - for lunch, a walk, Yatzy and dinner. A lovely day ♥

I will tell you more about it tomorrow (I also have some more pics) ... Nightie, sweet dreams!

Nynäshamn

When work was done for the day we decided to for dinner, so we went to restaurant Kroken in Nynäshamn - it is really good! I've been there a couple of times and the food has always been amazing. Afterwards we found the ice cream that made Ebba smile like a fool :)

Thursday

All Swedes know that you have to "fika" every now and then!

... especially all construction workers - I've heard it's what they do best ;)

Taking a walk with my mother, Camilla and Ebba.

This is what the house looks like from one end. Can't wait til it's done! It already looks great.

Inside from the future bedroom, overlooking the hallway and living room area.

Happiness

... for a dog is as simple as ice cream! ♥

Picture from yesterday in Nynäshamn where we spent our evening. More pics are on the way.

Sjöstigen 7

These pictures are from Friday last week when I visited mum and dad at Oxnö.

My mum and I took a walk with Ebba, found wild strawberries and later the dog took a swim.

It's fun to watch her in the water because she puts down her whole head in the water and pushes it up hard so that the water's splashing all around her. Reminds me of Tösen! ...

This is what the house looks like from one direction. I will show you more of it another day!

I'm bored

Yes, I do miss Malta a bit (not the heat though).
I miss my friends over there & I miss that someone is always up for something.

5 days has passed since I got home. I've been busy until today - or yesterday, Monday.

Now this is my first week alone. People are working, mum and dad are building their house and I am a little bit bored. But I'm sure I can come up with plans for the rest of this week, & with some company I will definitely survive. Let's do this Sweden!

14th of July

Good morning Saturday! Everything looks much better in the sun light.

Tindra likes the sun as well c",)

Why don't we start the day with a beer? (nuts). & continue until we fall asleep.

Elsa Andersson's café in Norberg with the girls.

Back home - let's go for a walk! Camilla is pretty in pink ♥

New BFF's? ... The horse was really interested in the small black jumping thing on the ground.

13th of July

This is what we laid eyes on when getting out of the cars. Beautiful view!

Joakim showed us his super-cool dance moves when Jacob started playing the guitar.

Tomas tried to play golf. It didn't end very well ...

Music and dance after the dinner! A lovely evening with lovely friends ♥

Weekend

Had a lovely weekend in Norberg at Simon's familys country house.

We left Stockholm Friday after everyone finished work and got there around eight.

Great food, awesome company, a lot of singing and fun stuff! I will show you more pictures another day. Now I'm gonna watch a movie, take a shower and fall asleep. Tired, tired, tired.

My last night

Yesterday was my last day (for now) on the island ...

Spent most of it inside, packing and cleaning. During the evening I met Sammy, Maria, Caroline and Tess for a dinner at Meet. Salmon and rose wine, a Baileys and apekatter ♥

Later we walked down to Juuls for too many Bombaklaats and a Gregorys. A lot to drink but at least I managed to avoid the shots. Dancing and drinking, talking to all the wonderful people who came down so "HI!" and good bye - no tears, only happy smiles. A perfect night!

It was harder than I though saying bye to Juuls. I guess it's the only thing that has been there since I came, and that hasn't really changed (much). People are leaving, people are coming and you get to know awesome friends - but that bar has been there since day one.

So many memories, good times. I hope to see you again soon! "How do I live without you?".

Team dinner

Last night the Betsson Brand Team had dinner at Zest, to say good bye to me and Honken. Mr. Boss taught us that a man should never speak for longer than he can make love (5:34?) and the food was delicious! I know I write this a lot right now, but I miss everyone of them already, and I've only been away from the office for 12 days. "I will survive" ...

After dinner we went to Hugos Lounge for some more drinks and champagne!

Unfortunately I couldn't stay very long since I was so tired (and a bit drunk as well), so I went home quite early. Fell asleep immediately and woke up this morning with a horrible headache. Doesn't matter though, it was a great night with great people. Thanks for coming and for the awesome card with your love, and for the gift! I've managed to use half of it already ... ;)

Pink Flamingo

Yesterday started with breakfast and jet ski with Valle!

I was scared to death, but it was cool! And fun (afterwards at least).

Later we met up with Henrik and we went out with his awesome boat, The Pink Flamingo - a.k.a. Molgan. We drove to Small Hole where we spent some time in the sun, took a swim or two with the Disney Princesses and listened to Jack Johnson. What an amazing day!

I will surely miss being able to do things like this ...

Thank you ♥ I'll miss both of you like crazy.

Something blue

This morning I met up with Rob & his crew, we rented a car and started our drive to Gozo.

First stop was at Ramla Bay where we spent a couple of hours in the sun. It feels like the water is almost as hot as the temperature on land atm ... Everything everywhere is boiling! After the beach we tried to find Azure window. I will never, ever learn to drive and actually find the way over there. I've been 3 times and I've never found the way quick and easy - even though I must say it was much better last time with 1 more girl in the car instead of 3 guys who all knew the way (+1 girl who always knows best) yes, me). Well, as you can see on the pictures below we found it eventually. It is a cool place, even the third time.

Later - after some climbing, ice cream, water, juice, swimming, photographs, talk about food - we took the car to Marsalforn where we had dinner at a restaurant called Menga Antik. The food wasn't extrordinary but alright, and the place was sweet and nicely located. After that we were all tired and wanted to go home, so we did. And we managed a whole day without killing eachother (which could have been the case). I'm proud of us :) Thanks for a lovely day!

Stop smoking

Me & my brothers ♥

Thank you Amanda for the picture. You just gotta love instagram!

Lazy Sunday

No sun for me today either. I took a walk to Surfside, realized it was to warm for me and my hangover, so I went back home. Fell asleep, in my bed with the wonderful thing called AC turned on. A true lifesaver!

Woke up at five-ish, walked down to Val and watched the first 30 of American Reunion, then Sofia and Niels picked me up and we went to buy some Indian food which we enjoyed at S's place. After the food we watched one of the most girly and cute films that I know of - Holiday with Cameron Diaz (who's my favorite actress btw).

Now I'm home again and I'm planning to sleep very soon. Preferably in 5 mins. Sweet dreams!

Bombaklaat

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMILLA ♥

Yesterday was supposed to be a bit more chillaxed.
It started out good, but ended with bubbles at BarCelona.

BBQ with friends, a music quiz that Team number 1 won - OBV!
1, 2, 3 drinks at my beloved Juuls where we met Valle and co. Took a walk to BC, danced
a bit in the heat, sang a song and then we went home. It was for the best, I was drunk.

I'm on my way out. I need some sun, I've been lazy for 2 days now.

I was supposed to go with Jess and her team on The Spirit of Malta, but the alcohol messed it up for me. It would have been nice. I'm a little bit annoyed that I didn't force myself to go.

Anyways - countdown. 4 more days on the island. On Thursday I'm HOME! Can't wait ...

Serendipity

My last Friday on the island couldn't have been much better.

THANKS to everyone who showed up!

Dinner at Tapaz and then to Memories where we sang some songs and had too many shots - I think. I shouldn't drink shots. I lose my memory and I say stupid things. But it was really fun. & I'm happy that we didn't go any further than that (I won't miss you Paceville).

Today I feel like shit. No. Really. Like a bag of shit.

Aren't we pretty as hell? Oh yes, we are.

BBQ at Sandra and Sara's tonight. If you ask me right now I don't really feel like it, but in a couple of hours it will be better. I think it will be awesome! AWESOME is one of my favorite words in English. My absolute favorite word is SERENDIPITY. I love it! Taste it - it's beautiful.

Serendipity means a "happy accident" or "pleasant surprise"; specifically, the accident of finding something good or useful without looking for it. (wikipedia)

Blush & Panic

Sofia and I went with BON (the car) to Valletta today.
The plan was to do some shopping and eat lunch, but our "lunch" was more of an early dinner. In Gzira, at Star Café. Don't know what happened there. Too warm to walk around, and in this heat you're not very hungry ...

Anyways - below you'll find some pics! Blush & Panic is a sweet little shop that combines new clothes with vintage. Mostly cute dresses and skirts, but also mens clothing, jewelleries, books and interiors. It's located on Triq Melita, which is down from the main street.

Now it's time to get ready for tonight. I wish I could sleep for 4 hours first, but that's not possible. Legs needs to be shaved, hair needs to washed AND dried plus my eyes need some make-up. I guess I can sleep when I'm old. Or tonight, when I get back home from Paceville.

I hate packing

This is what it looks like right now ...

After throwing away 2 large garbage bags with clothes and stuff that I don't want or need anymore, I thought it was gonna be easy as a pancake to fit everything. But it wasn't. My conclusion after the test packing is that I need to buy one more suitcase. I want a pink one!

Introduction

I already have 2 blogs. I don't know which one to use.
Fuck 'em both - let's create a new one. It cannot be that much worse.

For old blog in English, please visit: theplacetobe.5kontinenter.se
For even older blog in Swedish, go to: plump1s.blogg.se

New chapter of my life is coming up - I'm moving back home, to Sweden.
I've been living in the mediterranean on a lovely little island called Malta for 3 years, & if you're interested in reading about all the fun stuff I've been up to, just click one of the links above.

Regarding the name; it's never easy to come up with a good name, or a subject.
The voices inside of my head were saying: "I've gotta come up with something really catchy!" ... and that's where it ended. Not catchy at all. Not at all catchy? Whatever.

So, 1 week left where the sun always shine. I will make the most out it. & THEN I will start looking after the blog business again. We'll see if I can keep it alive this time? I'll see you later.

This is me btw. Always so serious. The dude with the camera is Ole-Christian - he's awesome!
